Ethical Oversight

Ethics topics of IJEEE have been listed as follows:
  1. Reporting standards: The submitted manuscripts to the IJEEE should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as the objectives of the research.
  2. Hazards and human or animal subjects: Statements of compliance are needed if the paper involves the use of animal or human subjects or it involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use.
  3. Authorship of the paper: The authorship provides who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study.
  4. Originality and plagiarism: According to the IJEEE policies, the authors should guarantee that they have written original work. If the authors use the idea or words of other works, they must appropriately cite or quote.
  5. Data access: The IJEEE is able to request the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review. The authors should be prepared to provide public access to such data.
  6. Multiple, redundant, or concurrent publication: The authors should not publish a manuscript in more than one journal or primary publication. According to the IJEEE policies, the publication as an academic thesis or an abstract is not considered as work as prior publication.
  7. Acknowledgment: Proper acknowledgment of the other papers should always be given.
  8. Conflicts of interest: All submitted papers to the IJEEE should include disclosure of all relationships that could be viewed as presenting a conflict of interest.
  9. Fundamental errors: When the authors find a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they should contact the editor or journal manager and cooperate with them to retract or correct the paper.
  10. Use of patient images or case details: Researches on volunteers or patients need ethics committee approval. This approval should be documented in the paper.
